4 Violent People / Intent Reunion 6/29 @ Red 7 (preview)

On Friday, June 29th, Austin hardcore greats 4 Violent People and Intent will be back on the stage, at Red 7, for what has to be one of the best reunion shows this town has seen in quite awhile. Joining them will be Outrage. I remember these guys from the 90’s too, they were awesome then and can only imagine they will be bringing their A game as well. Starting out the evening will beGrowingman, a great current Austin band, who’s youth and energy follow the same footsteps as the “original” versions of the headlining acts.

Honestly, what is not to say about this lineup? Some of, if not the best, Austin hardcore bands, kids from a pre-digital era, that brought back, with a vengeance, something that had been lost in this town…hard, raw, fast, music.

4 Violent people and Intent last played together at a Cavity Club reunion, 11 yrs ago at the original Emo’s on Red River. Even if you were there it’s been one hell of a wait, but for those of us who weren’t, this show has been a long time coming to say the least.

Like many people in Austin, I know/have known personally most of the bands and their members and can assure you they are excited as the fans for this concert and are sounding great.

Make sure to mark your calendar, update your events, set your app, or whatever you have to do, because you will definitely want to be @ Red 7 on 6/29 for this once in a decade show.

RIP Roger Brown
