The Suffering kind
There’s a place in this world where the sun never shines
and down in this
place there’s a man with a whole in his heart
and down in this whole does
dance the one
the one, the one, yeah she tore it apart
So down in this
dark there stands a bar,
the lights are low but the price is so high
The
man he dose sit old pain by his side
their thinking, their drinking, yeah
their waiting round to die
Time lights a smoke, smoke get in your eyes
but
thing move so slow when your waiting round to die
She said she would, but oh
how she lies
now your sick in your sin, just waiting round to die
Time on
his hand, sweet pain by his side
the Devil laughs, the beast it will rise
don’t even try, wipe him from your mind
for he was born the suffering
kind
don’t even think, wipe him from mind
for he’s gonna live the
suffering kind
no don’t ya cry, chase him from your mind
for he gonna die
the suffering kind

David Duet was born in the deeps swamps of southern Louisiana a decade before the Punk Rock he first heard while living on the rural edge of Houston blended deep inside with the music of the swampy roots that he carried with him through Austin’s sun soaked skate punk mushroom freak show all the way to a wet dark distorted basements and pinned eye waterfront dives of Seattle Washington which he writes about in the lyrics of his Austin base band”EL PATHOS when he’s not making things, you can see the things he makes at The LONG BRANCH INN.
