MOTÖRHEAD, the loudest, coolest and most iconic
rock'n'roll lifestyle around, will release their new
studio album, The Wörld Is Yours, on
February 8, 2011. Written and performed by Lemmy Kilmister,
Philip Campbell and Mikkey Dee in both
Los Angeles, CA and Wales, UK, The Wörld Is Yours,
was made with longtime producer Cameron Webb,
who also worked on Motörizer, Kiss
Of Death and Inferno.
The
Wörld Is Yours continues a worldwide addiction to the
Motörhead sound and lifestyle which saw 2008's Motörizer
break both the band's own sales records and the Billboard Top 100
chart.
Being
the true road warriors they are, Motörhead will kick off their
worldwide live assault in Europe with
a major headline tour between November 8th and December 21st. They
then hit the North American tarmac, starting
on January 25th, 2011 at the House Of Blues, Anaheim and
climaxing in Los Angeles at Club Nokia on
March 11th. They will then continue to once again conquer
the globe, visiting Australia and South America in April/May, before
returning to Europe between June and August.
If
that isn't enough, the critically-acclaimed documentary about Motörhead's
iconic founding-frontman, titled LEMMY, which has been
tearing up the worldwide film festival circuit from New York to
Melbourne to London and beyond, will premiere nationally in January.
In other Motörhead
news:

The band will perform on the Conan O'Brien
show on January 26.
- Motörhead
have debuted the video for their new song, "Get Back In Line."
Footage of the band performing is interspersed with fat cat executives
showing their greed and gluttony. Motörhead put an end to that
though by beating up all the suits.
- Motörhead
Wine - you heard that right! It launched in Europe last month and
already sold out!
- Ozzy
Osbourne listed his top ten metal albums
of the year and Motörhead's The Wörld Is Yours

- on your iPhone or iPod.
A Motörhead Remixer app lets you put your own touch on classic
hits like "Ace Of Spades"
and "Overkill." You can even share your versions on
Facebook.

MOTÖRHEAD
ANNOUNCES 2011 U.S. TOUR
MOTÖRHEAD,
the loudest, coolest and most iconic rock'n'roll lifestyle around,
announce their 2011 U.S. tour dates to celebrate the band's 35th
anniversary and the release their new studio album, The Wörld
Is Yours, on February 8, 2011.
Motörhead
are a mindset, a belief, a way to live your life, a way to both
survive and beat a society that sometimes seems intent on trying
to grind you down. Which is why Motörhead have chosen now,
in what might be some of the most tense times in recent global history,
to release a hell-raising, rebel-rousing rock'n'roll statement known
as The Wörld is Yours.
If
that isn't enough, the critically-acclaimed documentary about Motörhead's
iconic founding-frontman, titled LEMMY, which has been
tearing up the worldwide film festival circuit from New York to
Melbourne to London and beyond, will premiere nationally in January.
"We
don't fit into anything!" roars founder and heartbeat Lemmy
Kilmister,"the only thing we fit into is 'Motörhead' because
we are Motörhead music and that's what we do!"
Legendary Motorhead front man Lemmy Kilmister has a recipe that
is so metal it could only be featured in Steve Seabury's
heavy metal cook book "Mosh Potatoes".
LoudTrax.com, the rock, metal, punk download
and merch site has decided to partner up with Lemmy and
"Mosh Potatoes" to dare all the metal heads around
the world to cook up their version of Lemmy's "Krakatoa
Surprise".
The idea for the contest came about when author Steve Seabury and
LoudTrax.com founder Antonio Marsillo were hanging
out in Times Square, smoking a couple of Cuban cigars. Steve
handed Antonio a copy of the book and they were making jokes
about the many recipes. Many beers later, the idea
to dare metal heads around the world to cook up Lemmy's
recipe was born.
Lemmy himself liked the idea so much, he offered up an autographed,
framed photograph and as well as a signed CD. In addition
to Lemmy's prizes, the winner of this contest receives a
boat load of prizes including Lemmy shirts, Harley-Davidson
boots, and more. Participants must send a video of
them cooking up this monster, upload it to YouTube and then
submit it on the Lemmy Contest section of LoudTrax.com.

"Mosh Potatoes" is the heavy metal cook book with recipes, anecdotes and mayhem
from the heavyweights of heavy metal. Seabury managed
to get recipes from Lemmy, Zakk Wylde, Motley Crue, Guns
'n Roses, Dream Theater, Testament, Lita Ford, Megadeth,
Anthrax, George Lynch, and a who's who of Heavy Rock artists.

Mix flour, syrup, beans and curry powder into a model of
Krakatoa Island. Pour strawberry syrup over it to simulate
lava. Pour brandy over all. Strike a match. Eat while still
burning.
