Converse and Thrasher have teamed up to present "Texas Style Death Match", a free two-day party at the Scoot Inn in East Austin during the South By Southwest Music Festival. The unofficial SXSW shows will feature:

The highlight of the show, however will be the skate competition which will feature professional skaters performing in the "best trick" and "worst trick" categories, mini ramps for amateurs, and celebrity judges. The show will start at noon each day, is free, and does not require a badge, wristband, or rsvp.
